Know Trip Permit

To trek to restricted areas of Manaslu, one must get authorized permits from the Department of Immigration in Kathmandu. Standard charges equivalent to the duration of your visit should be paid before the tour.

The trip permit is to ensure a well-disciplined stay, protecting the wildlife, vegetation, and culture of these areas. These permits go through checking multiple check posts in the trail. You need such a trip permit for Manaslu region trekking, climbing, and Annapurna Trekking.

1. Manaslu Trip Permit (2024-2025) 

Restricted Permit: September to November: Per person US$ 100 per week and after seven days per person US$ 15 per pp day.

Restricted Permit December to August:- Per person US$ 75 Per week then US$ 10/- pp per day.

MCAP:- US$ 30/- per person (Manaslu Conservation Area Project)

ACAP:- US$ 30/- per person (Annapurna Conservation Area Project)

2. Tsum Valley Trip Permit

Restricted Permit September to November:- Per person US$ 40 per week and after seven days per person US$ 7 per pp day.

Restricted Permit December to August:- Per person US$ 30 Per week then US$ 7/- pp per day.

MCAP: US$ 30/- per person (Manaslu Conservation Area Project)

3. Manaslu Tsum Valley Trip Permit

Restricted Permit: September to November: Per person, US$ 100 per week and after seven days per person US$ 15 per pp day.

Restricted Permit December to August:- Per person US$ 75 Per week then US$ 10/- pp per day.

MCAP:- US$ 30/- per person (Manaslu Conservation Area Project)

ACAP: US$ 30/- per person (Annapurna Conservation Area Project)

  • September to November: Per person US$ 40 per week and after seven days per person, US$ 7 per pp day.
  • December to August: Per person US$ 30 Per week then US$ 7/- pp per day.

4. Larkya Peak Climbing Trip Permit

Climbing Permit Fees: March to May US$ 250/- pp, September to November: US$ 125/- pp, December to February: US$ 70/- pp, and June to August US$ 250/- pp.

Restricted Permit September to November: Per person, US$ 100 per week; after seven days per person US$ 15 per pp day.

Restricted Permit December to August:- Per person US$ 75 Per week, then US$ 10/- pp per day.

5. Mt. Manaslu Expedition Trip Permit

Climbing Permit Fees: March to May: US$ 1800/pp; September to November US$ 900/pp; December to February US$ 450/- pp and June to August US$ 450/- pp.

Restricted Permit September to November: Per person US$ 100 per week and after seven days per person US$ 15 per pp day.

Restricted Permit December to August:- Per person US$ 75 Per week then US$ 10/- pp per day.
