Our Manaslu trek with Salman and Prabin was one of the most meaningful and memorable travel experiences we have ever had. Although heavy snowfall prevented us from crossing Larke Pass, our guides always prioritized safety, carefully steering us away from landslide-prone areas and guiding us along alternative paths that led to hidden villages and lesser-known trails. These unexpected routes became the most special part of the journey, allowing us to experience the Himalayas in a way that felt rare and deeply authentic.

As locals, Salman and Prabin shared invaluable insight into the region and its culture. They understood our pace and energy perfectly, leading us to quieter, more natural places and welcoming us into their world — teaching us local card games, introducing Nepali words, and highlighting small details we would never have noticed on our own.

Despite booking at the last minute, everything was handled promptly and professionally. All arrangements in Kathmandu were smooth, even when bad weather delayed our trek.

Beautiful Manaslu Trek with professional agency Himalaya Guide Nepal

I booked the Manaslu Circuit at short notice, and from the very beginning, communication with Himalaya Guide Nepal was smooth and reassuring. From the airport pickup to meeting Mr. Chandra Gurung and starting the trek the next morning, everything was perfectly arranged.

Our first guide, Milan Gurung, took great care of us and even taught us common Nepali words. After the trek, Mr. Chandra helped us explore Kathmandu and the surrounding valleys with other excellent guides.

The hospitality, support, and kindness went far beyond simple business. I returned home full of memories and deeply in love with Nepal.

My First Trek, and a Journey I’ll Never Forget

This was my very first trek, and Nepal exceeded every expectation. The landscapes, the people, and the mountains were simply breathtaking.

Our guide Salman and our porter Bobby made sure we were always safe, comfortable, and well fed after long days of hiking. Even when we faced mud, landslides, and unpredictable weather, they handled everything calmly and professionally.

Although we never saw Mount Manaslu, we felt its presence throughout the journey. When the pass closed due to extreme weather, we discovered beautiful alternative routes and hidden villages instead. I will definitely return to Nepal — and I will book again with Himalaya Guide Nepal.

This trek was an absolute highlight. Choosing a route that included Serung Gumpa Monastery made the experience even more special.

Sixteen Days to Remember in the Heart of the Himalayas

It is almost impossible to put into words how wonderful and enriching this adventure truly was. In just 16 days, we saw and experienced so much that it still feels almost unreal. What stands out most, and what I feel truly compelled to highlight, is that we had the best guide we could ever have hoped for — Kumar.

Kumar is exceptionally kind, attentive, professional, and genuinely caring. Without any doubt, he is outstanding at what he does. Throughout the trek, it often felt as though travelers from other groups were genuinely envious of us for having such an incredible guide. His deep knowledge, dedication, and constant support made the journey even more meaningful and unforgettable.
