Excellent company

0ur third visit to Nepal and once again we received excellent service from Himalaya Guide Nepal Pvt. Ltd. We tend to travel with very little notice and Chandra always manages to organize everything in time for us. Chandra’s younger brother, Dinesh, was our guide again and we marvel at how quickly he is learning and expanding his knowledge of the English language. Along with that he has an amazing ability to problem solve – our first day of travel was wrought with many difficulties due to heavy rains and muddy roads (like nothing I have ever seen before) and I observed Dinesh constantly arranging changes in our mode of transport and helping others out of tight spots. He ensured we eventually made it to our destination but I know it wasn’t easy. Throughout the whole trek, Dinesh always put our best interests first making sure we had enough to eat and were feeling well. He is very kind, gentle and caring whilst showing great strength and endurance capabilities. We trust this company implicitly and once again has no hesitation in recommending them.

Magical Manaslu Tsum Valley Trek

Trekking in Nepal is magical. What makes it magical is not only the place but the people you meet and the friends you make along the way. In October and November 2012 we spent three weeks trekking with Chandra Gurung as our guide in the Manaslu and Tsum Valley region of the Himalaya. Every day he guided us through small villages, high valleys, and below the beautiful peaks. He watched over us on the trails, made sure we had good food at each stop and kept us healthy and safe. He is a very competent guide and speaks English fluently. His medical training was needed when we had stomach and virus problems, and he always put his client wishes and happiness first. His infectious laugh made a long journey easy, and we became very good friends.

His knowledge of the area and familiarity with the locals provided us a wonderful cultural experience as we stayed with families and local teahouses. We can heartily recommend him as a well educated, warm, and friendly guide who will do everything possible to make your trekking in Nepal a perfect experience. We look forward to the day that we can return and trek with our friend in Nepal.

Magnificent Manaslu Circuit Trek

Magnificent Manaslu trekking between towering mountains and deep ravines, full of contrasts Himalayan hamlets dotted Gompas, chortens area, and the sacred stones of Mani, all of the hand of a great team. Unmatched trekking, landscapes, villages, people.

The guides and porters were incredible, great professionals in every way. I recommend doing the Manaslu trek and hiring this Team. Manaslu Circuit Trekking was beautiful, the organization was perfect, and we safely returned to Kathmandu after this Manaslu circuit trek in 2015 after the earthquake in Nepal. Now it is safe to do.
